The application deadline for the summer programs is Sunday March 3 at 11:59PM and the program will run for eight weeks, June 3 – July 26, 2024. The scholarship application closes on Wednesday March 20 at noon.
LSAMP Summer Research Program: The Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP) is a National Science Foundation program. The main focus is broadening the participation of historically underrepresented minority students at the baccalaureate level and advanced degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. STEM Summer Research Program: The IUUR STEM Summer Research Program was started in Summer 2021 to provide undergraduate students with an on-campus, residential research opportunity. The program aims to increase participation in STEM disciplines among student populations that are traditionally underrepresented in STEM. Women, first generation, students from historically excluded racial and ethnic groups, and students with high financial need are encouraged to apply. Advanced Summer Research Scholarships: IU Undergraduate Research provides Advanced Summer Research Scholarships to help undergraduate researchers spend their summers undertaking original research or creative projects. Students in any field are eligible to apply. All applicants must have a well developed project plan and a faculty mentor who has agreed to supervise the project.
